COACHES

Sally Brauer
Sally has nearly 20 years business experience, working predominately in global professional services organisations where she held senior management positions in Learning and Leadership Development. Sally wanted to take her passion for working with individuals and teams further – this led her into coaching. Throughout her career, she has worked with people to discover their motivations, values, strengths and, importantly, solutions to assess their career direction and increase their well-being.
Her in-house achievements include designing, building and embedding the new partner development and assessment program for KPMG nationally. Her role at KPMG also included managing the new partner program and high-potential program for partners and senior managers. While at Deloitte, she was responsible for the pre-partner development program which included debriefing 360’ feedback with over 500 participants and working with their sponsors.
During her time working in professional services firms, Sally worked closely with high-performing directors and new partners to support their development and progression as leaders in the firm. This gave her an understanding of the challenges that new partners face as they transition into partnership.
Sally’s approach is friendly, open and supportive; she helps her clients to recognise their unique strengths and values, clarify direction and position themselves for on-going personal and professional success. In coaching, she seeks to establish an environment where the client feels challenged and has the confidence to engage in productive conversations about their world, potential hurdles and future aspirations. Sally places great emphasis on finding the growth edge through empowerment and positive communication. Using a client-centred approach, she draws on evidence-based coaching methods and adult learning theory to best support needs.
Sally is a Level Two Certified Organisational Coach and ICF Member. She is committed to the profession of coaching and understands how experience combined with the right tools can unlock potential.
Sally is passionate about her role as Vice Chair of Dress for Success Perth which is a not for profit organisation that supports women to become financially independent through professional suiting and career development programs.
