Paul Lawrence
Paul lives in Sydney and has more than 20 years experience in corporate. He worked for a multinational energy company for 14 years, then in the financial and entertainment sectors. He led teams and businesses through periods of sweeping change, living and working in the UK, Spain, Portugal, Japan and Australia.
Paul has been coaching leaders across different functions and industries since 2007 and has over 4,000 hours of coaching experience, working with individuals, groups and teams. He is a qualified coach supervisor, trained at Oxford Brookes University. He designs and delivers leadership development programs and helps organisations with cultural transformation.
Paul teaches coaching on the master’s program at Sydney Business School, University of Wollongong and is an Honorary Research Associate at Oxford Brookes University. He has published more than a dozen journal articles and book chapters. He wrote a book on change leadership, published by Kogan Page in 2015. He recently wrote ‘Coaching in Three Dimensions‘ and ‘The Tao of Dialogue‘, both published by Routledge. ‘Coaching Systemically‘ was published in March 2021.
Paul adopts a systemic approach to all of his work, helping organisations to align their spend on coaching and leadership with business strategy and objectives.
Paul has four children and in his spare time, writes rather gory historical fiction.
